My first experience with animation software was the summer after 4th grade when I tagged along with my brother to his animation class at a community college. I didn’t decide to officially pursue a career in animation until my junior year of high school, however. While my friends were busy applying to state colleges for STEM degrees, I was trying to figure out where I could learn to animate, before finally settling on the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA.
